Andrew West is a software engineer with over 45 years of industry experience, primarily in electric utility SCADA systems. He has worked for utilities, SCADA hardware and software vendors and as a consultant. His interest in OT cybersecurity began in the mid-1990's.
He has participated in the development of Australian, IEC and IEEE utility automation and SCADA standards since 1995. He has Chaired the DNP Technical Committee since 1999.
